In the United States, IS colleagues consist of educational leaders from Minnesota State (Minnesota State Colleges and Universities). They authored the book, Designing Effective Teaching and Significant Learning to provide leadership for faculty in designing their campus leadership experiences as it examines the cycle of their work with students and business partnerships. Recognized as leaders in their fields of teaching and learning and committed to sharing their experiences to help other faculty and administration, front-line workers and management to understand and use these best practices to improve the academy. Their experience combines over 150 years of teaching, 75 years of leading centers for teaching and learning, and presenting internationally at over 500 conferences, workshops, and webinars on topics of course and curriculum design, online teaching, classroom learning strategies and campus leadership.
