Sandy Rebestekou Insurance Agent @ NN Hellas

I am a professional with around 20 years of working experience. Also a published researcher and speaker at international conferences. I will admit openly that I was never formally trained in the art of giving effective training to my team and the Sales Course has helped me a lot.The most important part is that I enjoy every bit of the session and completed everything less than a week.

John Argyriou Senior Sales Manager

The Sales courses will teach you an inbound approach to sales that focuses on being helpful, not salesy. By the end of this course, you'll be able to prospect for new business, qualify for high-quality prospects, book meetings with decision makers, handle buyer's objections, and negotiate and close a deal. By following this process, you'll be able to jumpstart your career in sales with tactical tips and advice to run an effective sales playbook.

Bill Tsinaridis Shipowner / CEO @ Hydrodotiki Group of Companies

I loved this course! I learned a lot. The topics selected were very strategic and helped me really understand better what was going on in the digital world. I liked that it was the concepts always had real life examples and the course was hands-on despite being online. I got my feet wet on stuff I never tried before. Before this course, I couldn't make sense of my observations until he broke it down in this course quite effectively.

Mary N. Reed Sales Manager @ Aexus

I actually hadn’t thought about the Big Dream as a separate component of planning my course. I often daydream of the ways course content will apply to various areas of my student’s life but have always left it to the student to discover. The exercise of writing these thoughts down as a touchstone of the design process hadn’t occurred to me. I have to admit, it was exciting!

Participant OCDI 1: PREPARING FOR YOUR COURSE DESIGN

I am excited to line everything up with outcomes-assessment-activities. I speak to students about how activities fit into the outcomes the program is committed to, so this work reinforces and strengthens it. I see lots of room for improvement but think this work is better for faculty and students....it's what I've been striving for on a mostly informal, trial and error basis.

Participant OCDI 2: INTEGRATING YOUR COURSE DESIGN

This course taught me the importance of sharing my communication plan to students before the semester starts. I believe I would increase student engagement if I share with students at the start of the semester that this weekly announcement is an integral part of the course. I'm excited to create an official communication plan, and I am even more excited to share this plan with students. I believe this will be a game-changer

Participant OCDI 3: COMMUNICATING IN YOUR COURSE

Applying this model will only provide me with more confidence to teach what I'm passionate about, but also engage students that will carry their experiences with them for years to come.

Participant OCDI 4: CREATING A LEARNING FRAMEWORK AND DEVELOPING LEARNING ACTIVITIES AND TECHNIQUES

I feel like I do a lot to make my course accessible, but after this discussion I realized that there are many things I do not do. I tend to hand-write my notes instead of typing them. However, if a student had a visual impairment, I don't believe they would be able to have my hand-written notes read aloud by any software, so maybe I need to create a typed version of what I typically write down so that they could access that.

Participant OCDI 5: MAKING YOUR COURSE ACCESSIBLE

We all learn at different rates in a school environment. But if we aren’t careful, late starters who might otherwise be very bright may fall behind their peers. If used properly, modern technology can level the playing field and allow each and every one of us to learn to our full potential in ways that suit our unique learning ability.

Participant OCDI 6: INTEGRATING LEARNING TECHNOLOGIES

By learning to use CATs effectively to discover how well learners are understanding and processing the information in my courses, I can adapt my instruction to best guide them to attaining course outcomes and will create a positive, learner-centered environment where everyone feels valued and respected. That then, may well become the hub of how I decide the quality of my courses.

Participant OCDI 7: ASSESSING STUDENT LEARNING, COURSE QUALITY, AND YOUR PROGRAM AND INSTITUTION

Stewart’s story at the beginning of Chapter 11: Reflecting on Your Teaching was something that hit home for me. Many faculty have experienced what this professor shared about his “aha” moment that changed his teaching to better engage students. Reading this in the course from the eBook helped me see what I could do in my own teaching!

Participant OCDI 8 : REFLECTING YOUR TEACHING, LEARNING HOW TO LEARN

The course was wonderful, and I really enjoyed it. I appreciated the clear organization and the logical and meaningful progression of events, activities, and assignments. The course was important before the pandemic, and its importance now couldn’t be overstated. Thanks again

Participant ONLINE COURSE DESIGN INSTITUTE

Taking this course was an eye-opening experience. Being an introvert, of course I design my course more like how I like to learn. I didn’t realize how I could design to balance a set of learning experiences for both extroverts and introverts. I now understand why this is important so that all of my students can feel valued and successfully thrive!

Participant DESIGNING COURSES FOR INTROVERTS AND EXTROVERTS: INCLUSIVITY IN ACTION

I enjoyed the reflection and predictive trends this course presented. I could relate to the ways I learned in the traditional model prior to the Pandemic and the ways teaching and learning was forced to pivot over the past couple of years. The course described ways to individualize learning in the future to make it even more relevant for students in the classroom and the workplace. It is time for me to implement these practices!
